Tentative reiser:
MAF er uenig med bedriftens brug af deres såkaldte "Tentative Reiser" når man tilbydes ekstra ture.
Vi mener det er klart brud på tarif aftalen 3.3
Da vi ikke kan opnå enighed med bedriften har vi rejst tvist via IE og afventer sagens videre forløb.
Forbundsalliansen: 
MAF deltog i NR-Forums høring om dette aktuelle emne som foregik på Rica Airport Hotel den 13 september 2012
Vi forholdte os meget kritisk til en eventuel Allianse med "Norsk Arbeidsmandsforbund", "Postkom" og "Norsk Transportarbeiderforbund"
Et stort flertal i NR-Forum (inklusive os) ønsker ikke denne allianse.
Nogen få ser alliansen som er fordel til løse større politiske problemer som EØS-aftalens indflydelse på vores arbejdsmarked.
Et flertal mener godt vi kan løse politiske problemer uden at være i allianse med flere forbund, vi ser hellere et tættere samarbeide med andre forbund.
Vi blev enige om at såfremt vi ikke får en Urafstemning igennem, vil vi via styremøde / årsmøde anbefale et nej til alliansen.

XLE rigger:
MAF deltager i Interim AMU for de nye rigge. 
Her er store udfordringer i nye typer af rig-design, procedurer, weac, stillings-betegnelser, ansvar og lignende.
MAF deltager også i SUT processen.
Endvidere ser vi oppmanningen som en stor opgave. Som vi tidligere har skrevet, kræver både MAF og Vernetjenesten at denne oppmanning sker fra Norge.
Vi ser dette som en en meget stor udfordring og følger derfor denne process hele tiden. 
CETOP 2 opplæring:
Denne oplæring som foregår i Kristiansand er godkendt på tilsvarende niveau som CETOP2.
Oplæringen foregår i 3 moduler, H1, H2 og H3.
Dem som trænger denne oplæring må tage en test for at prøve om man behøver at tage alle 3 moduler, eller om man bare må tage H2 og H3.
Bedriften oplyser at alle endnu ikke har taget testen. Vi vil fra MAF's side gerne opfordre til at alle tager denne test, så vi kan få klarlagt hvor mange som trænger alle 3 moduler.
Der har været en del uenighed om kompensation for kurserne.
MAF mener at alle tre moduler er "mandatory" og derfor bør kompenseres herefter.
Bedriften mener at kun H2 og H3 er kompensations-berettiget.
MAF fastholder vores synspunkt og diskuterer sagen videre.

Info will deal with "tentative travel", " The Union Alliance Project ", "XLE rigs" and "cetop 2 training".
Tentative travels: 
MAF disagree with the way the company make use of the so called "Tentative travels" when employees are offered extra hitches.
We are of the opinion that this is a clear violation of the Collective Agreement Section 3.3.
When we did not manage to come to agreement with the company we have presented a dispute through IE and await the further developments.
The Union Alliance Project: 
MAF participated in the NSA Forums’ hearing on this topic that took place at Rica Airport Hotel, September 13, 2012.
We were highly critical towards a potential alliance with the "Norwegian Union of General Workers", the "Postkom" and the "Norwegian Transport Workers' Union."
A large majority of the NSA-Forum (including us) do not want this alliance.
A few see the Alliance as an advantageous benefit in order to solve major political problems like the EEA impact on our labor market.
A majority are of the opinion that we may well solve political problems without being in alliance with several associations, we would rather prefer a closer cooperation with some other unions.
We were agreed that if we do not get a referendum on the subject, we will, via board meeting / AGM recommend a rejection of the alliance.

XLE rigs:
MAF is a participant in the interim WEC for the new rigs.
There are big challenges related to the new types of rig design, procedures, WEAC, designation of job titles, responsibilities and the like.
MAF is also participating in the AoC process.
Furthermore, we anticipate the manning to be a major task. As we have previously written, both MAF and the Occupational Safety Service require that this up-manning is accomplished from Norway.
We see this as a very big challenge and therefore we follow this process all along.

CETOP 2 training:
This training which takes place in Kristiansand is approved at the same level as CETOP2. Training is carried out in three modules, H1, H2 and H3.Those who need this training must take a test to see if one needs to complete all three modules, or if you just need to complete H2 and H3.request that everyone take this test, so we can clarify how many people who need all three modules. MAF is of the opinion that all three modules are "mandatory" and therefore should be compensated as such. MAF maintain our point of view and will discuss the matter further.The company informs that all have not yet completed the test. From MAF's side we will There has been some disagreement about compensation for the courses.
The company claims that only H2 and H3 are entitled to compensation.

Valg av representanter til Styret i Maersk Ansattes Forening!

1. oktober startet nominasjonsprosessen til hvem du ønsker skal sitte i foreningens styre etter årsmøte i 2013.
Nominasjonslister er sendt ut til alle våre rigger og skal være på plass på oppslagslister rundt på riggen.
Nominasjonsprosessen foregår fra 1 okt. - 15. nov og alle medlemmer i MAF har lov å foreslå kandidater.
Når nominasjonen er over, vil kandidatene , såfremt de er medlem av MAF bli ringt opp av valgkomiteen og forespurt om de kan tenke seg å stille til styrevalg.
Selve valget foregår mellom den 1. desember 2012 og 15. januar 2013.
Stemmemateriale vil bli sendt hjem til hvert enkelt medlem og ut på alle riggene den 1.desember .
Vi ønsker alle lykke til og håper på stor deltakelse.

MAF informs topics assistent rig engineer, rigg visits, manning XLE rigs, pension for expatriates, travel insurance and elections to the Board of MDN AS.
Assistent rig engineer
We receive many inquiries from personnel in this position group. As you will know, it was decided at the settlement in 2011 that the company had the option of transferring their personnel in this group onto individual salaried personnel (group 2), however no later than 1 June 2012. MAF and the company met in many meetings during 2011/12 on the subject, but as you came to know we did not agree. MAF was of the opinion that the wages were set too low.
The company then decided a unilaterally-binding salary for each employee in the position as individually paid personnel. MAF knows that the salary provided by the company is approximately on average for the industry.
If you are individually salaried you will receive your monthly salary without almost no increments.
Sections of the Collective Agreement which does not apply to personnel on individual remuneration: Section 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 1.paragraph, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, sections 4.1.1 to 4.1.3 and 4.2 and finally sections 5 to 7.
MAF has requested the company to inform the employees on what the transfer from tariff wages to individual salary actually means in practice. MAF has been promised that such information will be presented shortly.
Rigg visits
MAF has been on several rig visits during the recent months. The local union leader, deputy leader and the secretary have visited Giant in Hirtshals. The union leader and deputy leader have also been aboard Innovator in Esbjerg.
Manning XLE rigs
An information-packet is submitted to the rig management on all units (31 August 2012). A short version is also being sent to all employees (3 September 2012).
The information is related to recruitment with related to future crewing of rigs. "What to do" if you want to work on other / new units within Maersk Drilling. The same applies if someone is seeking new challenges internationally in MD.
Pension for expatriates
When will information on the company's contributions be made available? Reference is made to the changes in the Agreement from 1st June 2012 (from 9 to 15%)?
This question has been answered to MAF in the last week.
Below you will find information on the company's response underlined):
The company contributions increased from 7.9% to 12.1%
The amount is a result of the deduction of employers tax, management fees and cost of administration from the 15 %.
Employers tax is 14,1 % (in this case it constitutes 2.1% of the 15%)
Management fee is 0,6%
Cost of administration is 0,2%
MAF has been given until 15 September to provide feedback if input should be taking into account at the next salary.
MAF has difficulty in understanding the percentage which is set at 12.1%. Management- / Administration fee is something that is new to us. MAF has also asked the other local branches who are covered by the Collective Agreement to provide feedback about the level of the percentage. We will also bring this up with Industri Energi (IE).
This means that the company at the next wages (end of September) will pay 12.1% in arrears from 1st June 2012 to those entitled to this pension.
It is not certain that this percentage will be the final one. MAF is continuing its efforts in the matter.
Travel Insurance
MAF requested the company to consider whether travel insurance may be introduced for all employees. Not only travel insurance related work, but also encompassing leisure time. This is a benefit that other competing companies have offered to their employees, so why should not the largest company operating mobile units offer this benefit for all personnel employed by Maersk Drilling Norway AS?
Now the company has decided to introduce an extended travel insurance scheme from 1 January 2013, MAF appreciate the introduction. More practical information will be provided later. Final negotiations with the insurance companies are not yet terminated, says the company.
Elections to the Board of MDN AS
The elections of employee representatives for the board of Maersk Drilling Norway AS are terminated. The result of the count was that Frode Larsen, Bår Inge Pedersen and Hanne Holmboe will be representatives on the board for the next two years.
Election of employee representatives to the board of MDN AS had received four lists for nomination, and by the deadline, the company had received 275 votes, of which 24 were rejected or were blank.
Counting of votes gave the following results:
Nomination list 1 received 134 votes.
Nomination list 2 received 15 votes.
Nomination list 3 received 44 votes.
Nomination list 4 received 58 votes.
By using the distribution formula for the election method selected the Election Committee has concluded that the following are elected employee representatives on the board of directors:
Board members: Frode Larsen, Bår Inge Pedersen and Hanne Holmboe.
Deputy board members: Jørn B. Hansen, Bjørg Veenstra and Finn Boserup.
MAF congratulate the newly elected and wish them all the best in their duty.

MAF informerer om assisterende rigg eng., riggbesøk, bemanning XLE riggene, pensjon for utlendinger, reiseforsikring og styrevalg til MDN AS.
Assisterende rigg eng.
Vi får mange henvendelser fra denne stillingsgruppen. Som kjent ble det bestemt i mellomoppgjøret i 2011 at bedriften hadde anledning til å overføre stillingsgruppen til individuelt avlønnet (gruppe 2), dog senest innen 1.juni 2012. MAF og bedriften hadde mange møter i løpet av 2011/12 omkring emnet, men vi kom som kjent ikke til enighet. MAF mente at lønnen var satt for lav.
Bedriften bestemte da lønnen til hver ansatt i stillingen individuelt. MAF vet at lønnen bedriften har gitt de ansatte er omtrentlig på gjennomsnittet i bransjen.
Er man individuelt avlønnet er det fast månedslønn og bortimot ingen tillegg. Punkter i tariffavtalen som ikke gjelder for individuelt avlønnede er: punkt 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 1.ledd, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, punktene 4.1.1 til 4.1.3 og 4.2 samt punktene 5 til 7.
MAF har bedt bedriften informere de ansatte om hva endringene fra tarifflønn til individuelt betyr i praksis. MAF har blitt lovet at slik informasjon er nært forestående.
Riggbesøk
MAF har vært på flere riggbesøk de siste månedene. I Hirtshals på Giant har leder, nestleder og foreningssekretær vært. Leder og nestleder har også vært om bord på Innovator i Esbjerg.
Bemanning XLE rigger
Det er utsendt en info-pakke til riggledelse på alle rigger (31.august 2012). En kortversjon blir også sendt alle ansatte (3.september 2012).
Informasjonen omhandler rekruttering med hensyn til fremtidig bemanning av rigger. ”How to do” dersom du ønsker jobbe på andre/nye enheter i Maersk Drilling. Det samme gjelder dersom noen søker nye utfordringer internasjonalt i MD.
Pensjon utlendinger
Når blir bedriftens bidrag klart, ref overenskomstens endring fra 1.juni 2012(fra 9 til 15 %) ?
Dette spørsmål har MAF fått svar på i sist uke.
Under finner du bedriftens svar (understreket):
Bedriftens innbetalinger økes fra 7,9% til 12,1%
Beløpet kommer frem ved at man trekker ut arbeidsgiveravgift, forvaltningskostnader og administrasjon i tallet på 15 %.
Arbeidsgiveravgift er 14,1 % (i dette tilfellet utgjør det 2,1 % av de 15 %)
Forvaltningskostnad er 0,6%
Administrasjonskostnad er 0,2%
MAF har fått frist til 15.september til å gi tilbakemelding dersom innspill skal tas hensyn til på førstkommende lønn.
MAF stiller seg undrende til prosentsatsen som er satt til 12,1 %. Forvaltnings-/administrasjonskostnader er noe vi ikke har hatt før. MAF har også bedt de andre foreningene som er omfattet av tariffavtalen gi oss tilbakemelding om prosentsats. Vi vil også drøfte dette med Industri Energi (IE).
Dette betyr at bedrift vil utbetale ved neste lønning (slutten av september) 12,1 % med tilbakevirkende kraft fra 1.juni 2012 til alle som har rett på denne pensjonen.
Det er altså ikke sikkert at denne prosentsatsen vil være den endelige. MAF jobber videre med denne saken.
Reiseforsikring
MAF ba bedriften se på om det kan innføres reiseforsikring for alle ansatte. Ikke bare reiseforsikring i jobbsammenheng, men også på fritiden. Dette er goder andre konkurrerende bedrifter har gitt sine ansatte, så hvorfor skulle ikke den største bedriften innenfor flyteriggområdet gi dette godet til alle oss som er ansatt i Maersk Drilling Norge as?
Nå har bedriften bestemt at det innføres utvidet reiseforsikring fra 1.januar 2013, det er MAF glad for. Mer praktisk informasjon kommer senere. Sluttforhandlingene med forsikringsselskapene er ikke endelig avklart, opplyser bedriften.
Styrevalget MDN AS
Valget til ansatte representanter i styret i Maersk Drilling Norge as er avsluttet. Resultatet av opptellingen ble at Frode Larsen, Bår Inge Pedersen og Hanne Holmboe blir styrerepresentanter de neste 2 år.
Valget av ansatterepresentanter til MDN AS styre hadde fire innkomne nominasjonslister, og ved fristens utløp, hadde bedriften mottatt 275 stemmesedler, hvorav 24 ble forkastet eller var blanke.
Opptellingen av stemmene gav følgende resultat:

Here are some info about: promotion internally within the company, training committee, manning of XLE rigs, workplace reviews on Maersk Inspirer, wage bargaining with NSA, bonus for long service, position Ass. Rig Engineer, daily subsistence allowance, position of Senior Process Operator, Section 22 in Collective Agreement: Arrangements for older workers, company sport, CETOP 2 training, rig visits, shop steward conference and night shift allowance.
Internal promotion
Based on evaluations, employees may be offered promotion to higher positions through the resource pool. This does not exclude that promotion may be performed directly in those situations where the actual position is not present in the resource pool.
Training committee
The old protocol on Education Committee has not been terminated yet, but there is established a “training and competence group” within MDN with the mandate from Jacob Korsgaard to attend to education and training. Ellen Gangenes, union studies’ advisor, is representing MAF in the group.
According to the management model of government it is the Asset Manager who is responsible person and is the owner of the training matrix and hold the right to overrule recommendations from the “training and competence group”, and have the final decision on training and competence.
The Safety Service and MAF believe that this is a breach of the PSA's regulations, as well as the preconditions for the rigs manned by MDN to maintain the AoC.
Jacob Korsgaard and HR will prepare a proposal for a new mandate for the “training and competence group”.
Manning XLE rigs
Crewing of the XLE rigs has not yet started. For those interested in working on these rigs and will like to register their interest, they must fill out a form that is registered in a database in Lyngby. The reason the forms are sent to Lyngby is for practical reasons only, in order to make use of a common database. The location of the database does not affect who will take care of the manning of the rigs. This will still be carried out by MDN.
Workplace assessments on Maersk Inspirer
Performance Appraisal is completed, and calibration between the leaders have been implemented to ensure equal treatment of all employees on "Maersk Inspirer."
The company points out that there are no present plans for moving personnel on "Maersk Inspirer."
Wage bargaining with NSA
11 to 12 April a tariff conference was arranged in Stavanger. All claims forwarded by the Annual General Meeting of MAF were presented.
Jørn B Hansen, Frode Larsen and Bår Inge Pedersen will participate from the MAF during the negotiations in Oslo in late May. Start date is 29 May.
Bonus for long service
MAF wants a bonus to encompass all employees. The bonus is preferred like a bonus for seniority. Other companies within the scope of NSA are working with the introduction of this.
The company does not want to implement the bonus.
Ass. Rig Engineer
The status of this case is unchanged. The parties have still not reached agreement. MAF does not accept the offer provided by MDN.
Meal allowance
As we have a lot of questions about meal allowances when traveling, we approached the company to clarify what rates they are using and whether the rates used comply with the regulations that is referred to in the Collective Agreement.
For travels over 12h the company follow the State rates for travel:
2.2 Meal allowance for overnight stays:
a) For travels lasting more than 12 hours, an undocumented rate of NOK 640, - applies.
b) For journeys lasting more than 24 hours, 6 hours or more into the next 24-hour period is considered as a brand new full 24-hour period.
When single meals are covered by employer / client or by the organizer / host, a deduction3 in the meal allowance will be made, see also § 12, paragraph 2 last
sentence.
The employee must be informed before deductions in the travel expenses and time sheets are performed.
Position of Senior Process Operator
It will be checked with the Permanent Position Committee if the actual position is correctly implemented in the NSA matrix.
Section 22 of the Collective Agreement: Arrangements for senior workers
MAF has requested that the company is looking at solutions for employees covered by this paragraph.
Company sports
MAF has asked if MDN is officially registered as a company sports team. They are not and have no intention of doing so.
CETOP 2 training
Having received your questions if On Offshore Services is authorized for printing certificates on CETOP 2, MAF took the issue up with the company.
Requirements for the maintenance personnel is as follows:
Possess relevant trade certificates related to the fields the personnel shall serve, as well as training in accordance with the special instructions issued by the manufacturer of the equipment. The curricula for the certificate shall be specified by the Ministry of education and Research.
Additional training in hydraulics for personnel who will perform maintenance on hydraulic operated machinery. Future training should be consistent with the curriculum that is in accordance with guidelines and requirements developed by the CETOP, minimum CETOP competency level 2. The curriculum should also be approved by the hydraulic industry in Norway (Hydraulics and Pneumatics Association).
On Offshore Services has training in accordance with the following:
Hydraulic (H2, H3) advanced course
The course provides a vocational competence in industrial hydraulics equivalent to Cetop skills level 2.
The training is approved as vocational training in industrial mechanic and industrial installer subjects.


Requirements for admission are a conducted hydraulic basic course (H1). Candidates with a certificate in mechanical engineering, technical school, engineering school or other previous knowledge of physics, may be granted exemption from module H1 after passing a test of competency.

• Competence certificate from high school. Score 20% or better
• Diploma for passing training equivalent to Cetop competence level 2. Score 60% ​​or better

Duration:

So, the parties assume that adequate training in accordance with the requirement in CETOP 2, and the requirement under the R-003 N are satisfied.
MAF claim that this will be compensated according to the Collective Agreement.


Rig visits
MAF will give priority to rig visits both on Innovator and Giant when they shall stay in shipyard.
Shop steward conference
Again, this year also we will arrange 2 shop steward conferences in the autumn. These courses were a great success last year and we are already looking forward to the upcoming meetings. Night shift allowance
We often get a lot of questions relating to the payment of nightshift allowance in cases where one works permanently night shifts , and maybe come out on the rig 2-3 days delayed due to fog or canceled flights, or the like.
Under such circumstances the night shift allowance, being an inconvenience allowance, is actually to be paid for nightshifts worked only. No inconvenience - no compensation.
The only circumstance that will entitle you to be compensated for night shift allowance without actually being at work is when you are reported sick. It may sound a little strange, but in this case it is both the Collective Agreement and the National Insurance Scheme that regulates this.

MAF tillitsvalgtkonferanse
Tillitsvalgtkonferanse 16.-17.oktober og 7.- 8.november 2012

Årsmøte i MAF bestemte at det skulle avholdes lokal tillitsvalgtkonferanse i 2012. Datoer for avholdelse av disse er satt til 16.- 17.oktober og 7.- 8.november.
Alle plasstillitsvalgte og bedriftstillitsvalgte inviteres herved på konferanse. Tillitsvalgtkonferansene avholdes 16.-17.oktober og 7.- 8.november 2012 på Hummeren Hotel, like utenfor Stavanger.
Begge konferansene starter første dag med lunsj ca kl 12.00 og avsluttes dagen etter kl 15.00.
Agendaen under konferansen er en gjennomgang av overenskomsten og hovedavtalen med de typiske problemstillingene vi har i Maersk Drilling Norge as (MDN). En gjennomgang av lokale særavtaler og sosialt samvær. 
Tillitsvalgtkonferansen skal tas på fritiden og det gis ikke fri fra offshorearbeid for deltakelse. Deltakerne vil få dekket transport, opphold etc. og kompenseres tilsvarende 12 timer overtidskompensasjon.
MAF ber dem som er interessert å delta om å melde seg på her. (mmaf@online.no). Du må oppgi navn og arbeidsplass samt den dato du ønsker å delta. Det er begrenset deltakelse på konferansene og derfor blir det ”først til mølla” prinsippet.
Påmeldingsfrist til konferansen som starter 16.oktober er satt til 25.september.

Innovator skal til Danmark for verftsopphold. Oppholdet er estimert til 35 dager. Avtalen inkluderer "full pakke" med skattegaranti ! 
Det betyr at den gjeldende tariffavtale som vi har i Norge er gjellende for verftsoppholdet.
I tillegg gis det en skattegaranti.
I vedlegget finner du protokollen samt memo om skattegaranti.
Den opprinnelige planen var at Innovator skulle til Hirtshals, men i skrivende stund ser det ut som om riggen går til Esbjerg.
MAF er særdeles fornøyd med avtalen.

Anders Blom appointed as KHVO
Anders Blom will continue in position as KHVO. Robert Holmen has accepted another position within the company and Vidar Emilsen will be his substitute as Ass. KHVO from 15 March.
Course loacation
MAF has received many questions on why one has to travel so far to attend courses when training centers are located close to where you live.
The answer we receive from the company is that employees are sent to training centers which have VAK- training. To the extent possible, the employees are directed to the training center located nearest to their domicile.
Leave Entitlements
MAF is presently working to update our previous protocol on leave entitlements. In the past week we have been meeting with Industri Energi lawyer, Karianne Rettedal. The MAF board will have the opportunity to provide their input later.
Education of Hydraulic Engineers/Rigfloor Mechanics:
The company continues to train the personnel in accordance with CETOP2, some still need to be GAP'd, and the company call for their educational records.
It has been decided that also the mechanics on Giant, Guardian and Gallant will be trained pursuant to CETOP2.
Manning of XLE-rigs:
MAF is in dialogue with the company on will be done. In addition to that we maintain our requirement that MDN HR department will be responsible for employments, we are also presently discussing seniority and promotions.

Anders Blom utpekt som KHVO
Anders Blom fortsetter som KHVO. Robert Holmen har takket ja til annen stilling i bedriften og Vidar Emilsen avløser han som ass. KHVO fra den 15.mars.
Kurssted
MAF har fått mange spørsmål om hvorfor man må reise så langt for å delta på kurs når kurssentre er like i nærheten av der man er bosatt.
Svaret vi får fra bedriften er at de ansatte blir sendt på kurssteder som har VAK-trening. I den grad det er mulig blir de ansatte sendt på nærmeste kurssted.
Permisjonsrettigheder
Maf arbejder på at få opdateret vores gamle protokol for permisjonsrettigheder, vi har i seneste uke været til møde hos Karianne Rettedal. Styret vil få mulighed for at komme med indspil senere.
Hydraulikere og rigfloormekanikeres uddannelse:
Bedriften fortsætter med at uddanne i henhold til CETOP2, enkelte mangler fortsat at blive GAP’et, bedriften efterlyser deres uddannelses papirer.
Der er besluttet at også Mekanikere på Giant, Guardian og Gallant uddannes ihenhold til CETOP2.
Bemanning XLE rigge:
MAF er i dialog med bedriften om hvordan dette, ud over at vi opretholder krav om at MDN HR afdeling skal skal stå for ansettelser, så diskuterer vi nu også ansiennitet og forfremmelser. 

Wage settlement 2012

Here are vigorous claims for this years’ wage settlement. These requirements will be forwarded to the Negotiating Committee who in turn will decide on which claims to be presented before the employers. 
The Maersk Employee’s Association (MAF) claims for the wage settlement 2012 are:
The claims are not presented in order of priority.
20 % increase in salary. The increase in salary to be calculated in percentage.
· 4.1        Wage group positions
The following positions to be changed:
- DFO promoted to wage group B
- Assistant Crane operator promoted to wage group C
- Slurry operator promoted to wage group B
- Crane Operator promoted to wage group A
- Mechanic promoted to wage group B
- Process operator promoted to wage group A
- Hydraulic Engineer promoted to wage group A
· 5.1        Size of the allowance
Change the percentage rate for overtime compensation from 65 % to 
100 %
· 5.5        (new point) Agreed overtime
Agreed overtime related to an extension of the regular period on board, or at an offshore hitch during the leisure period shall always have a fixed date for return. If one fails to comply with this specific date, this will be compensated with waiting time allowance pursuant to § 3.3.
· 6.3        Mask allowance
To be increased.
· 6.5        Oil based mud:
Brine, sewage and hydraulic oil to be classified under mud allowance and the compensation to be increased.
· 6.6        Smoke divers
To be changed from NOK 250 to NOK 500
· 7 Night shift allowance
The night bonus to be increased by 20 %
· 12         Compensation for public holidays
To be increased to NOK 3 000,-.
· 13.1      Ordinary travel route
Delete the sentence: ”In connection with necessary overnight stay….State rates for travel.”
Insert the following sentence: Meals allowance to be paid according to the State rates for travel.
· 13.5       Official journeys:
Allowance to be increased from NOK 25,- to hourly rate.
· 14.1       General regulations under leave of absence: Corrections in the text from 7 to
 14 days.
· The Joint Statement on shop stewards shall also apply for the safety representatives in each individual company.

Lønnsoppgjøret 2012

Her er spreke krav til årets lønnsoppgjør. Disse krav går videre til forhandlingsutvalget som blir enige om hvilke krav som skal fremmes for våre arbeidsgivere.
Maersk Ansattes Forenings (MAF) krav til lønnsoppgjøret 2012 er:
Kravene er ikke satt opp i prioritert rekkefølge.
20 % lønnsøkning. Selve lønnsøkningen skal være i prosent.
· 4.1        Lønnsgruppeplassering
Følgende stillinger endres:

Avtalt overtid som blir gjort i forbindelse med forlengelse av ordinær tur, eller ved utreise i friperioden skal alltid ha en hjemreisedato. Overholdes ikke denne konkrete dato, kompenseres dette med ventetidskompensasjon i henhold til 3.3.

Økes.
· 6.5        Oljebasert boreslam:
Brine, sewage og hyd.olje inn under mudtillegg og tillegget økes.

Annual General Meeting, AGM 2012
This years AGM in the Maersk Employees Association, MAF will take place in Copenhagen 27 – 29 January.
This year we will get the opportunity to visit our headquarters at the Esplanade and the AP Møller Museum.
26 January a board meeting will be held prior to the AGM.
The Annual General Meeting process among other things, the accounts for 2011, cases received, activityplan for 2012 and prepare the MAFs claims for the wage settlement 2012.
We wish all our company shop stewards and the site shop stewards welcome to the AGM.
Election to the MAF Board
The election will soon be finished and the results will be presented during this week. The Election Protocol is to be published on the web when the counting of votes is made.
The Educational Committee in MDN
A meeting was held on 13 January concerning how issue on courses should be handled by the MDN. MAF will be informed at the next monthly meeting (February 8).
Organisational Changes "Maersk Inspirer."
The company has informed MAF that they will evaluate the possibility of reducing the number of rig administrators on "Maersk Inspirer", and eventually phase them out. The company also informed that this will not result in any layoffs.
The Safety Service and MAF have pointed out that if this will be implemented the necessary assessments of impact must be carried out and information and knowledge collected about what tasks are then to be moved on to other positions, or transferred to the onshore organization.
The company confirms that the Management Regulations, their provisions for adequate manning and expertise in all phases of the petroleum activities shall be followed.
Manning on slurry "MAERSK REACHER"
Rig Manager "MAERSK REACHER" wants to have three additional crew to operate the CRI unit on "MAERSK REACHER". It is currently not defined that this will be purely slurry operators, the company will a look at the possibility of using other skills also in these positions. According to decision in I-AMU "MAERSK REACH" the position to be managed by the technical department of the rig.
Welding skills "MAERSK REACHER".
Given restrictions on hot work on the Valhall Flank the management of "MAERSK REACHER" Rig Team do not consider that are still any need for welders on "MAERSK REACHER" in the present contract for BP. On this basis, the company would like to evaluate other solutions / positions for those who presently are employed as welders on the rig. This issue was also raised in the "MAERSK REACHER" " I- AMU on 20 December 2011.
As of today the Company do not want to retain welders on the rig. This will not involve layoffs, but can lead to change of rig for those currently working as welders on "MAERSK REACHER" ". Another solution may be that they accept a different position on the rig that eventually may be offered to them.
Manning XLE rigs:
Safety Service and MAF has required that the crew of the two new XLE rigs which have received a contract in Norway should be manned by MDN HR department.Company related MD is supposed to recruit in the range of 3000 people.
The intention is that all XLE rigs will be be manned from Norway, and MDN will be responsible for manning the new XLE rigs right from the start. In Norway, we need about 350 new employees.
Asst rig engineer.
The parties have not reached consencus. The company shall submit a proposal for protocol, along with anonymised payroll statistics.
Education for Hydraulich Engineers and Rigfloor Mechanics:
Listings with an overview of skills is presently processed. These lists are made on the basis of material submitted by the employees. Efforts are made to find solutions to increase the competence of those who do not comply with NOK CETOP 2. In this regard, one will come to use among others "On & Offshore Services AS" in Kristiansand.

Her kommer litt info årsmøte i MAF, styrevalg i MAF, opplæringsutvalget, organisasjonsendringer, bemanning slurry på "Reacher", sveisekompetanse, bemanning XLE-rigger, ass.rig.eng og hydraulikere/rigfloormekanikeres utdannelse.
Årsmøte 2012
Det avholdes årsmøte i Maersk Ansattes Forening den 27.-29. januar i København.
Vi vil i år få anledning til å besøke vårt hovedkontor på Esplanaden og AP Møller museet.
Den 26 januar vil det bli avholdt styremøte i forkant av årsmøte.
Årsmøte behandler bla. regnskap 2011, innkomne saker , handlingsplan 2012 og utarbeider MAFs krav til lønnsoppgjøret 2012.
Vi ønsker alle våre bedrifts- og plasstillitsvalgte velkommen.
Styrevalg MAF
Valget nærmer seg slutten og resultat vil foreligge i løpet av denne uken. Valgprotokollen legges ut på nett når opptellingen er foretatt.
Opplæringsutvalget i MDN
Det ble avholdt et møte den 13.januar angående hvordan dette med kurs skal håndteres i MDN. MAF vil bli orientert ved neste månedsmøte (8.februar).
Organisasjonsendring "MÆRSK INSPIRER".
Bedriften har informerte om at de vil se på muligheten til å redusere antall rig administratorer på "MÆRSK INSPIRER", og på sikt fase dem ut. Bedriften informerte samtid om at dette ikke vil medføre oppsigelser.
Vernetjenesten og MAF har påpekt at dersom dette skal gjennomføres må det gjennomføres nødvendige konsekvensanalyser og innhentes informasjon og kunnskap om hvilke arbeidsoppgaver som da flyttes over på andre stillinger, eventuelt overføres til landorganisasjonen.
Bedriften bekrefter at Styringsforskriftens sine bestemmelser om tilstreklig bemanning og kompetanse i alle faser av petroleumsvirksomheten skal følges.
Bemanning slurry "MAERSK REACHER"
Rig Manager "MAERSK REACHER" vil ha tre personer til i bemanningen til å drifte CRI anlegget på "MAERSK REACHER". Det er pt ikke definert at dette blir rene slurry operatører, bedriften vil se på muligheten for å bruke også annen kompetanse i disse stillingene.
Det arbeides pt med stillingsinstruks til stillingen. I henhold til vedtak i I-AMU "MAERSK REACHER" skal denne stillingen tilhøre teknisk avdeling på riggen.
Sveisekompetanse "MAERSK REACHER".
Med bakgrunn i restriksjoner på varmt arbeid på Valhall Flanke anser ikke ledelsen i "MAERSK REACHER" rig team at det fortsatt er behov for sveisere på "MAERSK REACHER" i den videre kontrakt for BP. Med bakgrunn i dette vil gjerne bedriften se på andre løsninger/stillinger for de som pr i dag er ansatt som sveisere på riggen. Denne saken ble også tatt opp i "MAERSK REACHER" I-AMU den 20.desember 2011.
Pr i dag ønsker en ikke å beholde sveisere på riggen. Dette vil ikke medføre oppsigelser, men kan medføre bytte av rigg for de som i dag arbeider som sveisere på "MAERSK REACHER". En annen løsning kan være at de takker ja til en annen stilling på riggen som de eventuelt blir tilbudt.
Bemanning XLE rigger:
Vernetjenesten og MAF har forlangt at bemanningen av de to nye XLE riggene som har fått kontrakt i Norge skal bemannes av MDN HR avdeling.
Ledelsen har vært på pre kick off møte angående bemanning av nybygg. Company messig skal MD rekruttere i størrelsesorden 3000 personer. Det legges opp til at XLE riggene skal bemannes fra Norge, og MDN skal stå for bemanningen av de nye XLE riggene helt fra starten. I Norge trenger vi ca 350 nye ansatte.

Partene har ikke kommet til enighet. Bedriften skal sende over forslag til protokoll, samt anonymisert lønns statistikk.
Hydraulikere og Rigfloormekanikeres utdannelse:
Lister med oversikt over kompetanse er ferdiglaget. Disse listene er laget på bakgrunn av materiale innsendt av de ansatte.
Det arbeides med å finne løsninger med å øke kompetanse på de som ikke har nok til CETOP 2. I denne forbindelse kommer man til å bruke blant annet ” On & Offshore Services AS” i Kristiansand.

Siden værmeldingene ikke ser så verst ut frem mot helga , og de fleste rigger har flight torsdag 12 og fredag 13 ønsker vi at dere sender stemmeseddlene inn med disse flightene . Vi er nødt å få talt opp valget den 17-18 jan. pga eventuelt nye deltakere til årsmøte og post til og fra enkelte av riggene har jo latt vente på seg i disse stormfulle tider J. Samle alle stemmekonvolutter i en stor konvolutt og merk med VALG MAF. Vi henter hos MDN.
Når konvoluttene er sendt fra rigg så gi oss en tilbakemelding.
